{{ud}} Pokémon.com has updated with event information.

{{bp|Nintendo Power}} has revealed the {{p|Arceus}} event dates for players of the American versions of the {{bp|Pokémon games}} {{game2|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}}. The event will take place Nov. 7-15 at Toys "R" Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico. The event will be distributed via {{bp|Mystery Gift}}, similar to all previous {{bp|Generation IV}} distributions.

Arceus, the Alpha Pokémon, is a {{type|Normal}} {{bp|legendary Pokémon}}. It is currently the final Pokémon in the {{bp|List of Pokémon by National Pokédex number|National Pokédex}}. Like {{p|Darkrai}} and {{p|Shaymin}} before it, Arceus was not officially recognized by Nintendo until the [[Arceus officially revealed|year of its debut]]. It was [[Pokemon.com officially reveals Arceus|later revealed]] by the {{bp|Pokémon.com|official Pokémon site}} last Aug. 3, making all Pokémon in the games officially revealed.

The Arceus to be distributed will be the same as the ones first distributed this year in Japan. It will be in a Cherish Ball at {{bp|level}} 100, hold the {{bp|Rowap Berry}} and a Classic Ribbon, and it know the moves {{m4|Roar of Time|Spacial Rend|Shadow Force|Judgment}}, the {{bp|signature move|signature moves}} of {{p|Dialga}}, {{p|Palkia}}, {{p|Giratina}} and itself, respectively. Bringing the Arceus to the the {{bp|Ruins of Alph}} in {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver}} later on will allow players to unlock an event that will allow them to obtain a level 1 {{p|Dialga}}, {{p|Palkia}} or {{p|Giratina}}.

Thanks to {{u|Ho-oh Fan|talk=yes}} for a tip on the event.
