{{bp|Nintendo Power}} has revealed the {{p|Arceus}} event dates for American Pokémon players. The event will take place November 7 through the 15 at Toys 'R' Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico. The event will be distributed via Mystery Gift to players of {{bp|Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions|Diamond, Pearl,}} or {{bp|Pokémon Platinum Version|Platinum}}.

Arceus, the Alpha Pokémon, is a Normal-type legendary Pokémon. It is currently the final Pokémon in the {{bp|List of Pokémon by National Pokédex number|National Pokédex}}. Like {{p|Darkrai}} and {{p|Shaymin}} before it, Arceus was not officially recognized by Nintendo [[Arceus officially revealed|until February 2009]], the year of its debut movie. It was [[Pokemon.com officially reveals Arceus|later revealed]] by the {{bp|Pokémon.com|official site}} on August 3rd, 2009, making all Pokémon in the games officially revealed.

{{bp|Nintendo Power}} has revealed the {{p|Arceus}} event dates for players of the American versions of the {{bp|Pokémon games}} {{game2|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}}. The event will take place Nov. 7-15 at Toys "R" Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico. The event will be distributed via {{bp|Mystery Gift}}, similar to all previous {{bp|Generation IV}} distributions.

Following the trend of most {{bp|event Pokémon}} released outside Japan, the Arceus to be distributed will most likely be the same as the ones first distributed this year. If this would be the case, it would be in a Cherish Ball at {{bp|level}} 100. It would hold the {{bp|Rowap Berry}} and a Classic Ribbon, and it would know the moves {{m4|Roar of Time|Spacial Rend|Shadow Force|Judgment}}, the {{bp|signature move|signature moves}} of {{p|Dialga}}, {{p|Palkia}}, {{p|Giratina}} and itself, respectively. Bringing the Arceus to the the {{bp|Ruins of Alph}} in {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver}} later on will allow players to unlock an event that will allow them to obtain a level 1 Dialga, Palkia or Giratina.

Thanks to {{u|Ho-oh Fan|talk=yes}} for a tip on the event.
