Nintendo of America has put out a press release highlighting their Q2 2007 lineup of Wii and Nintendo DS games. Among the games listed, Pokémon Battle Revolution is the main focus due to its many "firsts".

According to Nintendo of America, Pokémon Battle Revolution is the first Wii game to link up to Nintendo's online service, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, the first Wii game to link up with a Nintendo DS title, the first Wii game than can be controlled by the Nintendo DS, and the first game in the Pokémon franchise for the Wii. The game is set to be released on June 25, 2007.

The press release also reminds readers that the DS Pokémon titles, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, will be released two months earlier on April 22, 2007.

Both Wii and DS titles are currently being showcased at the Game Developers Conference 2007.
