Gym Challenges present an opportunity to qualify for the Pokémon TCG World Championships

Pokémon TCG Gym Challenges Pokémon USA, Inc. has announced the Pokémon Trading Card Game Gym Challenges. Players need to compete in the Gym Challeneges to gain the opportunity to qualify for an invitation to the Pokémon TCG World Championships that will be taking place in in Anaheim, California, in August.

Pokémon TCG Gym Challenges are open to all eligible players and will be held from May 20 through to June 11. Competitors are divided into three age categories: 10 and younger, 11 to 14, and 15 and older. The first place winners in each age category will obtain an invitation and travel award to the Pokémon TCG World Championships. As the Pokémon TCG World Championships is an invite only event, players must participate in a qualifying tournament to receive an invitation.

The top eight players in each category will also receive prizes including Pokémon TCG expansion booster packs and a Gym Challenge promotional card.
