The new patch for Pokémon Shuffle has added the Evolving Challenge! Pignite special stage, and a new Pokémon Safari special stage. Additionally, a Garchompite Competitive Stage will be available starting August 7, 2015.

A Pignite special stage is available until August 17, 2015. This stage is limited to 20 moves. This stage is part of the "An Evolving Challenge!" series, with the Tepig stage available last month, and the Emboar stage to be available later this month.

The new Pokémon Safari stage features Gible, Gabite, Garchomp, Staryu, Starmie, and Furfrou. The stage will be available until August 17, 2015. Just like previous Pokémon Safari stages (but unlike other stages), when playing in the Pokémon Safari the player will battle one of the 6 possible Pokémon, decided randomly; as a result, the Optimize button is unavailable for this stage. The player receives a first clear bonus for the first time they defeat each Pokémon, not just the first time they clear the stage at all. Additionally, the player can only bring 3 Support Pokémon into this stage.

In addition, from a new Competitive Stage featuring Mega Garchomp will run in Pokémon Shuffle from August 7 to 17, 2015. On this stage, players will deal as much damage to a Mega Garchomp within the time limit, with players placing above a fixed position in their region winning a Garchompite.
