Seventh Japanese set introduces Plasma's Pokémon
The seventh Black & White Japanese Series expansion has been officially revealed! This expansion, named Plasma Gale, will be released September 14. Plasma Gale features Pokémon and Trainer cards belonging to Team Plasma, as well as the possibility of a new Pokémon-EX, Lugia-EX, based on how much Lugia is being featured with the expansion. It can be assumed that certain Trainer cards and Pokémon will do additional affects to the Pokémon belonging to Team Plasma. Additionally, their names remained unchanged, so Plasma's Klinklang would still be counted as "Klinklang" when building a deck. They still evolve from their normal pre-evolutions.
Pokémon featured in a promotion for the set are Skarmory, Crobat, and Bouffalant, and Pokémon featured in the set are Donphan and Rotom. Many of the Pokémon belong to Team Plasma. Team Plasma's Poké Ball will be a new Item card and N will receive a new alternate artwork.
Those who buy a box of Plasma Gale will receive an alternate artwork promotional version of Crobat, a card that will appear in the set as well. Crobat's Ability first appeared on Noctowl from HeartGold & SoulSilver.
Promotional versions of Skarmory, Bouffalant, Team Plasma's Poké Ball and N will be handed out when people buy packs in specific stores all around Japan. The stores will be announced the last weekend of August. Due to the size of the new card images, it is too difficult to read Skarmory, Bouffalant, and Team Plasma's Poké Ball.
