Jewel Changi Airport Devt announced on Thursday, October 11, 2018, that a Pokémon Center is to be opened in Singapore, located at the upcoming Jewel Changi Airport. The new store will be the first official permanent Pokémon Center outside of Japan. The store, alongside the new airport, will be opened in the first half of 2019. The store will offer an array of Pokémon merchandise sold in Japan as well as original merchandise exclusively created for Jewel, such as toys, stationery, Pokémon Trading Card Games and video games.

The store's logo features Pikachu, Lapras, and Celebi.

Pokémon Center stores are open throughout Japan and sell many kinds of official Pokémon merchandise.
