The annual Italian Pokémon Day will be held on July 13 and 14. A Meowth based on Meowth of Team Rocket will be distributed to Pokémon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.

The event will include Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorials, video game tournaments, a screening of Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice and Meloetta's Moonlight Serenade, and a costume competition. It is organized by Nintendo and held at the Mirabilandia amusement park, near Rimini.

The Meowth is expected to be based on the one distributed over Wi-Fi in Japan.
