On October 24, 2014, the {{bp|Pokémon Day}} event will be held in {{bp|Pokémon in Singapore|Singapore}} for the first time. Pokémon Day will be held at {{wp|Jalan Besar Stadium}} in conjunction with an {{wp|S.League}} {{wp|association football}} game. The event is organised by {{wp|Maxsoft}}, the Singaporean distributor of the  {{bp|Pokémon games}} and other media.

The gates will open to the event at 6:30pm and a special opening ceremony with Pikachu will take place at 7:20pm. Over the course of the event, up to 3,000 promotional serial codes will be distributed for a Shiny Gengar holding a Gengarite. Additionally, special {{bp|Pokémon Center (store)|Pokémon Center}} merchandise will be purchasable at the event, as well as free merchandise giveaways (while quantities last).
