An advertisement from Maxsoft promoting the Pokémon Day event

On October 24, 2014, the Pokémon Day event will be held in Singapore for the first time. Pokémon Day will be held at Jalan Besar Stadium in conjunction with an S.League association football game. The event is organised by Maxsoft, the Singaporean distributor of the Pokémon games and other media.

The gates will open to the event at 6:30pm and a special opening ceremony with Pikachu will take place at 7:20pm. Over the course of the event, up to 3,000 promotional serial codes will be distributed for a Shiny Gengar holding a Gengarite. Additionally, special Pokémon Center merchandise will be purchasable at the event, as well as free merchandise giveaways (while quantities last).
