The 36th issue of Pokémon Fan magazine has revealed new details on the upcoming arc featuring {{bp|Korrina}} and her {{p|Lucario}}. The magazine has also revealed a new episode title for the XY series.

{{bp|XY035|「森のチャンピオン！ルチャブル登場！！」}} ''Champion of the Forest! {{p|Hawlucha}} Appears!!'' is set to premiere on July 10, 2014. On July 17, there will be no episode and instead will be a movie special broadcast.

Blurb for the episodes in upcoming arc:
: ''In order to achieve {{bp|Mega Evolution}}, a Trainer and his Pokemon must find a special stone called the {{wp|Mega Stone}}. To find these stones, {{bp|Korrina}} travels with Ash and his friends to the Cave of Trial, a large cave on the outskirts of {{bp|Geosenge Town}}. After reaching their destination, they come face to face with a formidable Blaziken. To show that it has the necessary talent to handle the Mega Stone, Lucario challenges Blaziken to a battle of trials. If it defeats Blaziken, it can obtain the Mega Stone it seeks and will finally be able to Mega Evolve.''

: ''Having undergone Mega Evolution, Korrina's Mega Lucario battles Ash's Pikachu again. However, Mega Lucario goes out of control and begins rampaging and even attacking Korrina. Korrina's grandfather Gurkinn, who is checking the strength of Korrina and her Lucario after Mega Evolving, uses his Mega Lucario to stop her Lucario from rampaging any further. Gurkinn then gives advice to his worried granddaughter. Thanks to Korrina's grandfather's Mega Lucario, this crisis is somehow able to settle down...''
