Customers who buy a Pokémon GO-branded Google Play gift card before Sept. 3 at certain stores in Japan can obtain a set of items in Pokémon GO as a bonus. This promotion is only valid for Android devices. The set of items received from this promotion is 20 standard Poké Balls, 8 Great Balls, 8 Ultra Balls, 1 Incense, and 1 Lucky Egg.

A Pokémon GO-branded Google Play gift card

Specifically, players need to purchase a Pokémon GO-branded Google Play gift card with at least ¥3000 credit at 7-Eleven stores, Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, or the Pokémon EXPO Gym Official Shop from Aug. 7 to Sept. 3, 2017. They then need to register it register it online by 11:59 pm Sept. 4, 2017 (gift cards purchased on Sept. 4 are not eligible). They will then receive a code that must be redeemed in Pokémon GO on an Android device by March 31, 2018.

The only eligible gift card stocked by 7-Eleven stores is the variable-value Pokémon GO-branded Google Play gift card, which must be purchased with at least ¥3000 in credit to be eligible. The only eligible gift card stocked at Pokémon Centers, Pokemon Stores, and the Pokemon EXPO Gym Official Shop is the ¥5000 Pokémon GO-branded Google Play gift card.
