This will follow the release of {{bp|Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia}} in Japan [[Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia to be released on Wii U Virtual Console in Japan|today]]. The original {{ga|Pokémon Ranger}} was released in Japan in April this year.

Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs was originally released for {{bp|Nintendo DS}} in Japan on March 6, 2010. Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs has previously been released on Wii U Virtual Console in Europe and Australia.
