The World Hobby Fair 2006 started Jan. 15 in Osaka. It features a stand for Pokémon Ranger, where visitors can try out the game. GAME Watch has a news article about the WHF with some photos of the Pokémon Ranger stand, though no actual photos of the game demo are provided.

The World Hobby Fair will be in different Japanese cities during upcoming weeks:

  • Jan. 15 in Osaka
  • Jan. 21 and 22 in Tokyo
  • Jan. 29 in Nagoya
  • Feb. 5 in Fukuoka

The World Hobby Fair also has stands for some other Pokémon merchandise, such as toys and plush dolls by Banpresto and Tomy. Also, the anime special Pikachu's Winter Vacation 2 (ピカチュウのふゆやすみ2000) can be downloaded at the am3 stand.
