To commemorate the nine-year run of Pokémon Smash, they announced a Sableye distribution that will run from Sept. 15 until Sept. 28. Sableye is based on the one that has appeared on Pokémon Smash and Pokémon Sunday, which is what Pokémon Smash was previously called. Sableye will be distributed at Pokémon Centers throughout Japan.

Sableye will be level 50, have the Classic Ribbon, come in a Cherish Ball, and will be holding Black Sludge. Its OT is 「しょちょう」 Chief, and it has the moves Foul Play, Octazooka, Tickle and Trick which were chosen by one of the hosts, Chief Golgo Matsumoto.

A new Pocket Monsters XY trailer was also shown. There was a Mega Blaziken that was on top of a building and jumped down. A Garchomp was raging in the city. The Garchomp had glowing red eyes and a red ring around its abdomen. Ash and Pikachu were also shown falling off of a roof of a tall building.

Several character boards were shown, depicting who would be in the new series. Bonnie, Clemont, Team Rocket, Serena, and Viola were shown on the boards.
