In Pokémon.com's regular mailbag, it was said that there are currently "no plans to make My Pokémon Ranch compatible with Pokémon Platinum".

This update, released in Japan on November 5, 2008, allowed the Platinum-exclusive forms for Giratina, Shaymin, and Rotom to be stored on My Pokémon Ranch, along with several other new features.

No word has come from Nintendo USA on the matter, so some do not consider this announcement official. However, an announcement was to be made if there was a change, according to the article.
