Nintendo President dies of bile duct tumor

Satoru Iwata, President and CEO of Nintendo, has passed away this weekend due to a bile duct tumor. Iwata was appointed president in 2002, succeeding Hiroshi Yamauchi, who passed away on September 29, 2013. Iwata had been featured in many Nintendo Direct Presentations and, most recently, this year's E3 Digital Event. He was 55.
