Theresa Buchheister announced on Jan. 22 that she will no longer be directing the English dub of the Pokémon anime. She joined the series in 2015, replacing the previous voice director of Pokémon, Tom Wayland, at DuArt Film & Video. She directed the dub of the episodes from The Moment of Lumiose Truth! through the 15th episode of the 19th season, Pokémon the Series: XYZ, in addition to various specials and the 18th movie.

Her replacement as voice director has not been chosen at this time.
