Denzi

The title for the 179th episode of Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl was recently revealed. 「電撃バトル！最後のバッジ！！」 Electric Shock Battle! The Final Badge!! is set to air on June 3 on TV Tokyo.

According to the preview clip shown last April 1, the Gym Leader Denzi will use his Elekible against Satoshi's Pikachu. This battle makes Denzi the only Shin'ō Gym Leader Satoshi battled to use Pokémon they only had in Pokémon Platinum. A battle between these two was first seen in the last episode of Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation, when Satoshi was battling his rival Shigeru. Other than Elekible, Denzi will also use his Rentorar against his foe's Goukazaru, whose ability will once again activate.
