UK fans will be able to participate in a promotional mall tour event similar to the ongoing event currently held in the US, PokémonWorld UK reports.

This mall tour will commence at the end of February, and travel around five sites over five weekends. The mall tour aims to promote the as-yet-unreleased Pokémon Black and White. Few details are known about the UK version of the tour, however Bulbanews understands:

  • Fans will have the chance to preview Pokémon Black and White;
  • Unique merchandise will be on offer at a Pokémon Center store;
  • Fans can meet the Pokémon Black and White starter Pokémon: Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott;
  • Other activities, such as a mall-wide scavenger hunt and other in-mall contests will be available;
  • Unlike the US tour, the latest Pokémon movie, Zoroark: Master of Illusions will not be shown and Celebi will not be distributed.

The dates and locations for the UK tour are as follows:

  • Saturday 26th February / Sunday 27th February: Westfield London (Site GE1), London, W12 7GF
  • Saturday 5th March / Sunday 6th March: Silverburn Glasgow (Site Main Entrance – Debenhams), Barrhead Road, GLASGOW, G53 6QR
  • Saturday 12th March / Sunday 13th March: Birmingham (Site – outside Selfridges), Birmingham Bullring, B5
  • Saturday 19th March / Sunday 20th March: Metrocentre, Newcastle (Site – Town Square), Metrocentre, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE11 9YG
  • Saturday 2nd April / Sunday 3rd April: X Factor Live, Glasgow SECC, Exhibition Way, Glasgow, G3 8YW

Although the Zoroark movie may play on the tour, it is also getting a TV debut on CITV. No dates have been announced yet, but the movie is likely to air in February, at the conclusion of the Diamond & Pearl anime series and before the launch of Black and White Versions.

Zoroark: Master of Illusions had similar treatment: it was shown on Cartoon Network last Sunday.
