Mythical Pokémon to be distributed throughout 2016

Update: Minor details about distributions in Canada, Australia and New Zealand have been added.
To celebrate Pokémon's 20th anniversary, Mythical Pokémon will be distributed throughout 2016 via serial code at GameStop in the United States and via the Nintendo Network. They will also be available throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand, but no details have been announced about that distribution. EB Games Canada has also hinted that they will be distributing at least some of the Mythical Pokémon.
All the distributed Pokémon will be at level 100, in a Cherish Ball, and have a Classic Ribbon. Their original Trainer is "GF", and they each are met at "a lovely place". The distribution can be obtained in both Pokémon X and Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Distributions
From Feb. 1 until Feb. 24, code cards to obtain Mew will be distributed at GameStop stores in the United States, with the serial codes being valid until May 31, 2016. The distribution methods for other countries have not yet been announced. Mew will know the move Pound, have the Ability Synchronize, and have no held item.
Mew will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Mew box that also comes out in February; the box comes with Mew pin, a Mew Full Art promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. (Generations is a set that is released Feb. 22. The set contains 110 cards, which includes 16 Pokémon-EX cards such as Jolteon-EX, Charizard-EX, Mega Charizard-EX (X version), Venusaur-EX, Mega Venusaur-EX, Blastoise-EX, and Mega Blastoise-EX.) GameStop in the United States and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will also be selling a 6" Mew plush toy, and a 2" Mew figurine with a Great Ball.
From March 1 until March 24, Celebi will be distributed via Nintendo Network. Celebi will know the moves Confusion, Recover, Heal Bell and Safeguard, have the Ability Natural Cure, have no held item, and have the Trainer ID number 03016. Celebi will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Celebi box that also comes out in March; the box comes with a Celebi pin, a Celebi promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. In March, Toys "R" Us and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will be selling a 6" Celebi plush toy, and a small 2" Celebi figurine with a Great Ball.
From April 1 until April 24, Jirachi will be distributed via Nintendo Network. Jirachi will know the moves Wish, Confusion, and Rest, have the Ability Serene Grace, hold a Salac Berry, and have the Trainer ID number 04016. Jirachi will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Jirachi box that also comes out in April. The box comes with a Jirachi pin, a Jirachi promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. In April, Toys "R" Us and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will be selling a 6" Jirachi plush toy, and a small Jirachi figurine with a Premier Ball.
From May 1 until May 24, Darkrai will be distributed at GameStop stores in the United States, with the serial codes being valid until August 31, 2016. Darkrai will know the moves Dark Void, Ominous Wind, Nightmare and Feint Attack, have the Ability Bad Dreams, hold an Enigma Berry, and have the Trainer ID number 05016. Darkrai will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Darkrai box that also comes out in May; the box comes with a Darkrai pin, a Darkrai promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. GameStop and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will also be selling a 6" Darkrai plush toy, and a 2" Darkrai figurine with a Premier Ball.
From June 1 until June 24, Manaphy will be distributed via Nintendo Network. Manaphy will know the moves Tail Glow, Bubble, and Water Sport, have the Ability Hydration, hold a King's Rock, and have the Trainer ID number 06016. Manaphy will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Manaphy box that also comes out in June; the box comes with a Manaphy pin, a Manaphy promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. In June, Toys "R" Us and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will be selling a 6" Manaphy plush toy, and a 2" Manaphy figurine with a Poké Ball.
From July 1 until July 24, Shaymin will be distributed via Nintendo Network. Shaymin will know the moves Seed Flare, Aromatherapy, Substitute and Energy Ball, have the Ability Natural Cure, hold a Micle Berry, and have the Trainer ID number 07016. Shaymin will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Shaymin box that also comes out in July; the box comes with a Shaymin pin, a Shaymin promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. In July, Toys "R" Us and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will be selling a 6" Shaymin plush toy, and a 2" Shaymin figurine with an Ultra Ball.
From August 1 until August 24, Arceus will be distributed at GameStop stores in the United States, with the serial codes being valid until November 30, 2016. Arceus will know the moves Judgment, Recover, Hyper Beam and Perish Song, have the Ability Multitype, have no held item, and have the Trainer ID number 08016. Arceus will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Arceus box that also comes out in August; the box comes with a Arceus pin, an Arceus promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. GameStop and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will also be selling a 6" Arceus plush toy, and a 2" Arceus figurine with a Master Ball.
From Sept. 1 until Sept. 24, Victini will be distributed via Nintendo Network. Victini will know the moves Incinerate, Quick Attack, Endure and Confusion, have the Ability Victory Star, have no held item, and have the Trainer ID number 09016. Victini will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Victini box that also comes out in September; the box comes with a Victini pin, a Victini promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. In September, Toys "R" Us and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will be selling a 6" Victini plush toy, and a 2" Victini figurine with a Master Ball.
From Oct. 1 until Oct. 24, Keldeo will be distributed via Nintendo Network. Keldeo will know the moves Aqua Jet, Leer, Double Kick and Bubble Beam, have the Ability Justified, hold a PP Max, and have the Trainer ID number 10016. Keldeo will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Keldeo box that also comes out in October; the box comes with a Keldeo pin, a Keldeo promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. In October, Toys "R" Us and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will be selling a 6" Keldeo plush toy, and a 2" Keldeo figurine with a Luxury Ball.
From Nov. 1 until Nov. 24, Genesect will be distributed at GameStop stores in the United States, with the serial codes being valid until February 28, 2017. Genesect will know the moves Techno Blast, Magnet Bomb, Solar Beam and Signal Beam, have the Ability Download, have no held item, and have the Trainer ID number 11016. Genesect will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Genesect box that also comes out in November; the box comes with a Genesect pin, an Genesect promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. GameStop and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will also be selling a 6" Genesect plush toy.
From Dec. 1 until Dec. 24, Meloetta will be distributed via Nintendo Network. Meloetta will know the moves Quick Attack, Confusion, and Round, have the Ability Serene Grace, hold a PP Max, and have the Trainer ID number 12016. Meloetta will also be featured in the Mythical Pokémon Collection - Meloetta box that also comes out in December; the box comes with a Meloetta pin, a Meloetta promotional card, and two Generations TCG booster packs. In December, Toys "R" Us and EB Games in Australia & New Zealand will be selling a 6" Meloetta plush toy, and a 2" Meloetta figurine with a Quick Ball.
