The Nintendo Direct Japan's presentation has ended. The presentation covered the Wii U's features, its cost, and the release date for Japan. The Nintendo Wii successor, Nintendo Wii U, to be launched on Dec. 8, 2012.
The console will be available in two different sets, basic and premium. The basic set (white, 8GB) is of 26,250¥ (yen), while the premium (black, 32GB) one costs 31,500¥ (yen). The Wii U GamePad is available for 13,440¥ (yen) when sold separately, but is also available with a vertical stand, while the Pro Controller designed for traditional gaming costs 5000¥ (yen). Along with that, an HDMI cable will be included in the Wii U box, and AC adapters for both the console and the GamePad, but it will not include a sensor bar. All 'Virtual Console' and 'Wii Ware' games can be imported from Wii to Wii U.
