The ninth Pokémon movie, Pokémon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea: Manaphy continues to decline in its box office ranking, dropping to fifth place overall in its fourth weekend. Kamen Rider Kabuto: God Speed Love (仮面ライダーカブト GOD SPEED LOVE), which premiered August 5, beats the Pokémon movie; however, the third Naruto movie, The Animal Riot of Crescent Moon Island (大興奮!みかづき島のアニマル騒動だってばよ), only manages sixth place in its opening weekend, compared to last year's #1 opening weekend rank.
