Pokémon Ranger was originally released for Nintendo DS in North America on October 30, 2006. It was followed by two sequels, Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia and Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Pokémon Ranger has previously been released on Wii U Virtual Console in Europe, Australia, and Japan.
