Pokémon Platinum

Pokémon Platinum has sold 1.47 million copies since its Sept. 13 release in Japan, according to Media Create game rankings for Sept 22-28. The game slipped to number two in Japanese sales after the Sept. 25 release of Super Robot Wars Z.

While Super Robot Wars Z, a PlayStation 2 game, sold 366,000 units its first weekend, Platinum sold 195,000 in the same time span. Platinum sold approximately 1 million copies its first weekend, becoming the fastest-selling Nintendo DS game ever.
