Two new Pokémon special edition New Nintendo 2DS XL systems have been announced, although one is exclusive to Japan.

Poké Ball Edition box

The Poké Ball Edition New Nintendo 2DS XL is red and features a Poké Ball design on the cover. It will be released in North America on November 3, 2017; in Australia and New Zealand on November 4, 2017; and in Europe, Japan, and South Korea on November 17, 2017.

The Pikachu Edition New Nintendo 2DS XL is yellow and features a Pikachu design on the cover. It will be released in Japan on November 17, 2017. It will be exclusive to Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, the Pokémon Center Online, and the Pokémon EXPO Gym Official Shop.
