Pokémon.com has gotten a complete makeover, making the site fully integrated with the TCG, as Go-Pokémon closed earlier today. Select anime episodes can be viewed on the site, too. The Japanese Pokémon Daisuki Club has now been brought stateside as the Pokémon Trainer Club.

The new Pokémon.com

The site now includes a full TCG database, with images of all cards from EX Ruby & Sapphire set. The Pokédex has been redesigned with more information than the previous one, along with adding the HeartGold and SoulSilver Pokémon art. In addition, more online games have been posted on the Web site.

My Pokémon accounts have now been replaced by Pokémon Trainer Club accounts; all information has been preserved. In addition, POP IDs are now called Player IDs, as the IDs will now be used for purposes other than Organized Play. On that note, Organized Play is now separated into video games and TCG sections.

The update also officially revealed the Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver box art, along with announcing the Pokéwalker.

The site's coding also reveals some unknown sub-domains: http://admin.pokemon.com/, http://orders.pokemon.com/, http://cdn.pokemon.com/, and http://forums.pokemon.com/. All sub-domains are currently non-existent, though the CDN has a redirect to http://bitcast-g.bitgravity.com/pokemon/pokemon/production/, which is also unavailable.
