Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions adds extra Washington concert
|
At the end of June, The Pokémon Company International announced Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, a special live orchestral concert tour showcasing memorable music from throughout the history of the Pokémon franchise, and featuring all-new musical orchestral arrangements. There's now less than 2 weeks to go until the first concert in Washington, DC on August 15th, and with the Pokémon World Championships opening in that city over that weekend, tickets have been selling out fast. Due to this high demand, the producers have announced an additional Washington, DC concert will be held the following day on August 16th. Both the concerts on the 15th and 16th start at 8pm, so it's hoped this won't interfere too much with the plans of those competing in tournaments on the day.
Tickets for the Washington, DC concert on August 16th are available from Livenation. At the time of writing some tickets still remain for the performance on August 15th, however these will likely sell out over the next 24 hours, so you'd better be quick if you can only make this date. Tickets are also still available for the concert in Philadelphia on September 19th. Additional touring locations and dates are yet to be announced, and we'll keep you posted here on Bulbanews once those become available. The concert organizers have encouraged fans to come along in cosplay, and to bring along their 3DS consoles and Trading Card Game decks for battles both before and after the events.
