Pokémon GO Special Battle Showdown announced

Niantic has announced a Special Battle Showdown for Pokémon GO. Fighting-type Pokémon, such as Machop and Makuhita, will be found more frequently in the wild starting May 1 at 1:00pm PDT.

Furthermore, until May 14, players will receive 2× bonus XP for Gym Battles and Raid Battles. Moreover, Raid Battles will also give a guaranteed 3,000 Stardust for participating and at least one Rare Candy if the battle is won.

Several actions at Gyms, for example, spinning the photo disc will also give out bonuses, including a 2× Badge multiplier.
