A new update for Pokémon GO that brings the game to version 0.77.1 (labelled 1.47.1 on the iOS App Store) is currently being rolled out for iOS and Android. This means that it will not be available for every device right now, but will over the next few days.

The update makes it more difficult to transfer costumed Pokémon (Pikachu wearing special hats). A confirmation dialogue now appears when the player attempts to transfer them from the Pokémon screen, and they cannot be mass-transferred.

Additionally, it fixes a number of bugs. It resolved a bug causing occasional network errors while battling in Gyms, a bug causing Raid Battle lobbies to display the incorrect number of Trainers preparing for battle, a bug causing the Pokémon selected in the Raid Battle lobby to be reset after clicking the items button, and a bug where some Curveballs were not registering properly. It also includes various other bug fixes and performance upgrades.
