A new update is being rolled out for Pokémon GO, which adds several new minor features. This update brings the game to version 0.69.0 for iOS and Android (labeled 1.39.0 on the App Store). This means that it will not be available for every device right now, but will over the next few days.

This update adds icons to the Pokémon information screen to indicate how the Pokémon was caught. It also improves the Pokémon Collection screen search functionality.

Additionally, it makes it possible for a player to spin the Photo Disc at a Gym after completing a Raid Battle. It also allows players to feed their Pokémon defending Gyms Berries through the Pokémon information screen when they are not nearby, but they provide less motivation this way (it is unclear if this includes the Golden Razz Berry). Furthermore, it allows players to feed Berries to Pokémon at Gyms even if their motivation meter is full.

This update includes various bug fixes, such as fixing an issue where Trainers were unable to complete Raid Battles started before time expired on the map view, and fixing an issue where Pokémon are not properly returned to their Trainer after defending a Gym.
