HeartGold, SoulSilver to come with pedometer

5 bytes removed, 04:02, 8 June 2009
The episode of {{bp|Pokémon Sunday}} today revealed a new device that could connect to {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}}. This {{wp|pedometer}} known as the 「ポケウォーカー」''PokéWalker'' will be given to those who purchase HeartGold or SoulSilver.
The PokéWalker has both the shape and colors of a regular {{bp|Poké Ball|Monster Ball}}. It has at least three buttons and a black and whitemonochrome interface. It will allow players of HeartGold and SoulSilver to deposit one Pokémon there. The Pokémon gains {{bp|Experience|experience points}} and {{bp|happiness}} as players walk, somewhat similar to the {{wp|Bandai#Bandai USA|toys}} based on the {{wp|Digivice}} of the {{wp|Digimon}} series. Mini games are also included. This pedometer is the remake of {{bp|Pokémon Pikachu 2}}, a toy that can be used to obtain {{bp|Mystery Gift}}s in {{3v2|Gold|Silver|Crystal}}. Similar to that toy, the PokéWalker will use the currency ''Watt'' (W) for purchasing items, some of which can be sent to HeartGold or SoulSilver. It is currently unknown if this will be available outside of Japan.
