The cover shows different artworks of {{p|Ho-Oh}} and {{p|Lugia}} from the ones found on the official Japanese site. Behind them is the map of Johto, with the {{bp|Tin Tower}} and {{bp|Whirl Islands}} being included in the cover of HeartGold and SoulSilver, respectively.
