Similar to {{bp|Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia}}, this game features a new {{bp|region}}, new playable characters and, once again, {{bp|Professor Hastings}} and {{bp|Murph}}. The new region {{bp|Oblivia}} is an archipelago that has various locations, including volcanoes, icy mountains and forests.
