It is currently unknown is pre-ordering these games will allow fans to also get {{p|Ho-Oh}} and {{p|Lugia}} figures, which were available in Japan and will be available in North America.


HeartGold and SoulSilver, {{bp|remake}}s of the {{bp|Generation II}} {{pkmn|games}} {{game|Gold and Silver|s}}, will take players back to the {{bp|Johto}} {{bp|region}}. Starting in {{bp|New Bark Town}}, players will choose between {{p|Chikorita}}, {{p|Cyndaquil}}, and {{p|Totodile}} before embarking on their journey. The games bring back features unique to Gold and Silver, as well as the game {{game|Crystal}}, such as the use of the {{bp|PokéGear}} and {{bp|Apricorns}}. The original Japanese versions of HeartGold and SoulSilver were originally released last Sept. 12, 2009. The South Korean, North American, and European versions will be released on Feb. 4, March 14, and March 26, respectively.
