*I also enjoyed the read. the love of johto pokemon wasn't universal, to this day I really dislike the generation 2, and I feel gen 4 had the best additions so far. the newest generation isn't poorly designed per se, but I feel they don't really look like pokemon. *This article resonated with me as well, especially as a fellow Pokemon vet from ye olde Red and Blue days. While there will always be some oddities among the new generations (lol, which generation doesn't have any?), there are also always many that shine and make great additions to one's fighting style. And even if they don't become team staples, there are still many that will kick butt. Bring on the new pokemon! I can't wait! [[User:Caterfree10|Caterfree10]] 02:46, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
