Toys "R" Us has announced that participating stores in the United States will distribute an in-game representation of {{bp|Ash's Pikachu}} from Jan. 30 through Feb. 5, 2011. The Pikachu will be available to all Generation IV games, although a Wi-Fi distribution [[Satoshi's Pikachu to be distributed via Wi-Fi|similar Japanese distribution earlier this year]] is currently unknown.

The Japanese distribution of Ash's Pikachu took place July 15 through August 10, 2010. The American distribution will most likely be a translated version of the Japanese Pikachu. This means that it would most probably be a level 50 male Pikachu in a Cherish Ball with a Classic Ribbon and a {{bp|Light Ball}}. It would also have a Naughty nature and the moves {{m4|Volt Tackle|Iron Tail|Quick Attack|Thunderbolt}}.
