During his visit to the Pokémon Center store in Fukuoka, {{bp|Junichi Masuda}} revealed that a {{p|Pikachu}} with {{m|ExtremeSpeed}}, a move which cannot be learned by said Pokémon normally, will be distributed at the Kyūshū Shinkansen railway in Japan to commemorate their new bullet train.

'''ExtremeSpeed''' (Japanese: '''しんそく''' ''Godspeed'') is a damage-dealing {{type|Normal}} {{bp|move}} introduced in {{bp|Generation II}}. It is essentially a stronger version of {{m|Quick Attack}}. This will follow the numerous moves Pikachu are capable of knowing through events, including {{m4|Surf|Fly|Yawn|Sing}}.
