'Donamite' finale episode to air in April: Difference between revisions

The magazine "Pokémon Fan" has revealed details on the upcoming ''Donamite'' arc of the {{bp|Pokémon anime}}. Similar to {{bp|Club Battle|the Don Battle}} held in {{bp|Nimbassa Town|Raimon Town}}, {{bp|Don George}} will host another battle tournament called ''Donamite''. The four-part tournament will mark another reunion between the gangs' rivals, including {{an|Bianca|Bel}}, {{bp|Burgundy|Cabernet}}, {{bp|Stephan|Kenyan}}, {{bp|Georgia|Langley}} and {{bp|Trip|Shooty}}. Besides the known Trainers, new opponents (Akkie, Bakkie, Chakkie, Domon, Edmond, Flora, Grace and Masaomi) are among the sixteen participants. {{bp|Freddy O'Martian|Takemitsu}} will be hosting the tournament alongside Don George.

Unlike in the Don Battle tournament, the participants are allowed to use only one of their Pokemon through out all four rounds of the tournament. The known match-ups are {{bp|Ash Ketchum|Satoshi}} and {{bp|Ash's Scraggy|Zuruggu}}, {{an|Cilan|Dent}} and {{bp|Cilan's Pansage|Yanappu}}, Iris and {{bp|Iris's Excadrill|Doryuzu}}, Bel and {{p|Emboar|Enbuoh}}, Cabernet and {{p|Dewott|Futachimaru}}, Kenyan and {{bp|Stephan's Sawk|Dageki}}, Langley and {{p|Bisharp|Kirikizan}}, Shooty and {{p|Conkeldurr|Roubushin}}, Akkie and {{p|Simisage|Yanakkie}}, Bakkie and {{p|Simisear|Hiyakkie}}, Chakkie and {{p|Simipour|Baokkie}}, Domon and {{p|Mienshao|Kojondo}}, Edmond and {{p|Seismitoad|Gamageroge}}, Flora and {{p|Gothorita|Gothimiru}}, Grace and {{p|Druddigon|Crimgan}}, and last but not the least, Masaomi, the defending 'Donamite' champion, and {{p|Troh|Nageki}}.

Out of these sixteen contestants, eight will proceed to the next round. The known matches to be featured in the second round are Satoshi VS Bakkie, Iris VS Masaomi, Bel VS Langley, and Kenyan VS the winner of Dent and Flora's battle.

The semi-finals will have Satoshi VS Masaomi and Kenyan VS the winner of Bel and Langley's battle. The tournament will be concluding with the battle of Kenyan and Dageki against Masaomi and Nageki.  

It will also mark the first anime appearance of {{p|Simipour|Hiyakkie}}, {{p|Bisharp|Kirikizan}}, {{p|Mienshao|Kojondo}}, {{p|Conkeldurr|Roubushin}} and {{p|Simisage|Yanakkie}}, while {{p|Emboar|Enbuoh}} and {{p|Throh|Nageki}} will make their TV episode debuts.
