After the spin-off crossover game {{bp|Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition}} was released in Japan less than month ago, the fandom outside Japan was focused on whether the game would receive a localized release due to the game's heavy focus on Japanese history and due to the fact that a small amount of {{wp|Nobunaga's Ambition}} titles have been localized in the past.

However, today, Pokémon.com have announced that the game will be released in the United States as '''Pokémon Conquest'''. While the title has been changed, the official announcement does reference the Nobunaga's Ambition series, so the decision was most likely a marketing one. The game is due out in America on 18th June, while as of writing, a European or Australian release has yet to be confirmed.
However, today, the Official Pokémon site has confirmed the release of Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition outside Japan. The Nintendo DS game {{bp|Pokémon Conquest}} is set for a June 18, 2012 North American release.
