A selection of {{bp|Player Search System#O-Powers|O-Powers}}, the Generation VI equivalent of {{bp|Entralink#Pass Powers|Pass Powers}}, will be made available at selected Japanese stores from Oct. 12 to 14. O-Powers provide temporary boosts to various game attributes to all players in an area; however, each player must individually activate the O-Power to gain the boost.

Among many changes that happen with every Generation the players electronic aid device is one of the biggest personal items to receive an overhaul. Generation VI will be replacing the Entralink with the Player Search System and as such many Entralink features are being re-branded. The {{bp|Player_Search_System|O-Power}} feature is the heir to the Generation V {{bp|Entralink#Pass_Powers|Pass Powers}}.
The O-Powers to be made available are:
*'''HP Recovery Lv. 2''': When used, it increases healing from all sources by 50% (e.g., {{bp|Hyper Potion}} heals 300 HP instead of 200) for an unknown time period.

As such several participating Japanese stores will be giving away bonus O-Power's away on Oct. 12 to 14. They will be giving away three different level two O-powers. The power's seem to operate under a time constraint however the only with a listed time is the Pocket Money O-power which has a duration of three minutes.
*'''PP Recovery Lv. 2''': When used, increases the amount of PP recovered by 10 for an unknown time period.

HP Recovery Lv. 2 O-Power which when used it increases healing from all sources by 50%, for instance a {{bp|Hyper Potion}} used under the effects of this power up would heal 300 HP instead of 200.
*'''Pocket Money Lv. 2''': When used, doubles the amount of money received from a successful Pokémon battle for three minutes.

PP Recovery Lv. 2 O-Power which when used increases the amount of PP recovered by 10.
The participating stores are Aeon Lake Town shopping center in Saitama, Musashi Aeon Mall in Murayama, Ion Mall in Aichi, Aeon Mall in Hyogo, Aeon Mall in Fukuoka and Aqua city in Tokyo, as well as all seven Japanese {{bp|Pokémon Center (store)|Pokémon Center}} stores.
