From screenshots, Pokémon Yellow will be released in European languages as a Game Boy Color Virtual Console title, while all other games and the Japanese release of Pokémon Yellow will be Game Boy Virtual Console titles. In European languages, Pokémon Yellow was originally released as a Game Boy Color game that could also be played on Game Boy with some features disabled (although it was marketed as a Game Boy game that was enhanced on the Game Boy Color). In Japanese, Pokémon Yellow was released exclusively as a Game Boy title and did not have any additional features on Game Boy Color. The games do not appear to use the {{bp|Super Game Boy}} palettes.
