New Pokémon, Alola Forms, Team Skull details revealed: Difference between revisions

A new Japanese trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon has been released, which features a new Pokémon a new {{bp|Regional variant|Alola Form}}, and more details on some [[CoroCoro reveals new Alola Forms, new Pokémon|information revealed in this month's CoroCoro]] such as Team Skull.

The new Pokémon {{p|Morelull}} is a {{2t|Grass|Fairy}}-type Pokémon. It can have either {{a|Illuminate}} or {{a|Effect Spore}} as its Ability. It can learn the move {{m|Spore}}.

The new Pokémon {{p|Wishiwashi}} (which was revealed in CoroCoro) is a {{type|Water}} Pokémon. It has the new Ability {{a|Schooling}}, which changes its form. When Wishiwashi reaches a certain level, under certain conditions Schooling changes Solo Form into School Form by forming a school; when its HP is low, School changes it from School Form back to Solo Form. It can learn the moves {{m|Hydro Pump}} and {{m|Aqua Tail}}.

The new Pokémon {{p|Pyukumuku}} (which was revealed in CoroCoro) is a {{type|Water}} Pokémon. It has the new Ability {{a|Innards Out}}, which damages a Pokémon that knocks it out equal to the amount of HP Pyukumuku had. It can learn the move {{m|Pain Split}}.

{{bp|Regional variant|Alolan}} {{p|Raichu}} is an {{2t|Electric|Psychic}}-type Pokémon. It has the new Ability {{a|Surge Surfer}}, which doubles its {{bp|Speed}} while {{m|Electric Terrain}} is active. It can learn {{m|Psychic}} and {{m|Thunderbolt}}. It levitates in the air by riding its tail as a surfboard and has blue eyes (resembling {{bp|Puka}}'s).

Alolan {{p|Meowth}} (which was revealed in CoroCoro) is a {{type|Dark}} Pokémon. It can have either {{a|Pickup}} or {{a|Technician}} as its Ability, the same as regular Meowth. It can learn {{m|Pay Day}}.

Alolan {{p|Marowak}} (which was revealed in CoroCoro) is a {{2t|Fire|Ghost}}-type Pokémon. It can have either {{a|Cursed Body}} or {{a|Lightning Rod}} as its Ability. It can learn {{m|Will-O-Wisp}} and what appears to be a new bone-based {{type|Ghost}} move. It evolves from regular {{p|Cubone}}.

Team Skull, the villainous team of the Alola region as revealed in CoroCoro, are featured in the new trailer. They are a group of ruffians who steal other people's Pokémon, mess up the trial sites, and delight in all kinds of evil deeds.

Guzma is the Team Skull Boss. He is described as battling without mercy, describing himself and destruction in human form. He is shown to use an {{p|Ariados}} that knows {{m|Fell Stinger}} (among other Pokémon). He has "a bone to pick" with {{bp|Kukui}}, and mentions that both of them could never become {{bp|Trial Captain}}s.

Plumeria is a Team Skull Admin. In battle, she uses a {{p|Golbat}} (among other Pokémon). She describes herself as a big sister, and considers the other members of Team Skull to be her younger siblings.

Grunts have to buy their uniforms themselves. The Grunts are shown to use {{p|Zubat}}, {{p|Haunter}} and {{p|Drowzee}}.
