Disclaimer needed?

This should have had a disclaimer of sorts or something. Considering that this "news article" is nothing more than an obvious marketing ploy to fund a fan art show, I'm not too pleased with Bulbanews being used as a platform to promote Pokémon-related fan or other non-official projects that cost money. Sorry if I'm sounding a bit harsh here, but is there something somewhere in the Bulbanews policy that allows this? BulbaPediaAid (talk) 05:32, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

I agree, and I've edited the article to remove the adspeak. While we're certainly happy to give worthy projects some publicity, the original article went way over the editorial line into breathless endorsement and promotion. I don't consider this appropriate and I appreciate it being brought to my attention. George Hutcheon (talk) 11:06, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
I think this is HUGE news for the Pokémon community. It's Trainers coming together for the same thing that they love. To say that this isn't news is kind of disrespectful to all the artists, a lot being Bulba members, for their contributions. Plus, the rewards people are getting are pretty great. 100+ trainers can't be wrong so far? It's funny because the Full Restore posting followed this, yet had no complaints?
