Alaska=Part of Europe???
This event just worked for me, and from what I understand there are not any North American Wi-Fi distributions. Just 'cause, I decided to makes sure about that. THE EVENT WORKED! I downloaded the special pichu, no harm to the game. Should this be mentioned anywhere? Poisson14 08:05, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Did you ever try the Wi-Fi first? That's how I found it out. I though signal might spread a bit further than Russia, and being able to see them from my house, I decided to try and see if I would be able to get the Pichu. My heart skipped a beat when it worked. It was late at night when it happened. I thought I was dreaming. Glad that I wasn't. Poisson14 06:15, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
It worked for me in New Zealand! That was a surprise! Kingdonfin 21:55, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
It works in Hawaii too.
- Yes, it is available in NTSC (Japan and US) and PAL (Europe and Australia) games. Look at the PDF. Content Distribution may be made available over Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection.
Also, Poisson14, signal doesn't matter. It's that NoA decided to. Also, New Zealand and Hawaii are in Australia and the US, respectively.--immewnitythemew 23:16, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
- New Zealand isn't in Australia.. I'm gonna assume you just used bad wording or something but you should be careful in future.. Kanjo 05:29, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
