The Pokemon Radio Twitter along with the InterFM website has announced the start date for the Team Rocket radio show. As previously reported, this radio show was an idea of Megumi Hayashibara (voice of Jessie in the Japanese version). It was later officially pitched by sound director Masafumi Mima a year and a half ago. On June 1 the Pokémon radio Twitter was launched, and hype for the show began.

The "plot" of the Twitter so far has been Giovanni wanting to recruit all 7 billion people on Earth to join Team Rocket's ranks. Many of the tweets have been focused on trying to get more followers for the Twitter. Things got more interesting a few days ago, as Giovanni mentioned something going on at the Sinnoh base, and then suddenly left headquarters. Soon after, Meowth tweeted and talked about how with their radio show they'd be sure to get all 7 billion people of the Earth to join Team Rocket.

A few hours ago the official website was launched, but not much information was given about the program. We do know that the program will be starting on July 1st and run every Sunday from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. It will air on InterFM 76.1 Tokyo (76.5 Yokohama). No end date has been announced. It's unclear what will be on the show, however we do know that it was pitched to be a show adults would listen to, and possibly have characters such as Giovanni, Wobbuffet, or even Croagunk as guests.
