The official Pokémon Ranger Web site and Pokeani revealed information about the upcoming Nintendo DS game earlier this week. A new villainous group, Team Go-Go, and the egg from ''[[bp:Pokémon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea: Manaphy|Pokémon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea: Manaphy]]'' will make appearances.

The new group, ゴーゴー団 ''Team Go-Go'', has four leaders. Their names are ヤライ ''Yarai'', ヨウジ ''Yōji'', ユウキ ''Yūki'' and ミライ ''Mirai''. The name ''Yūki'' is shared by the male protagonist of the [[bp:Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire|Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire]] and [[bp:Pokémon Emerald|Emerald]] games, named [[bp:Brendan|Brendan]] in English.

In addition to the male and female protagonist characters in the game, several other Pokémon Rangers are profiled on the official site as part of the レンジャーユニオン ''Ranger Union''. Each ranger presumably holds domain over a certain area and may have a Gym Leader-type role. These rangers are named カムリ ''Kamuri'', エリダ ''Erida'', ジョウ ''Joe'', アリア ''Aria'' and ハヤテ ''Hayate''.
