The trailer shows many new scenes, including the new movie characters. The trailer shows the extent of {{bp|Zoroark}}'s powers, showing it take the form of the {{bp|Entei}}, {{bp|Raikou}} and {{bp|Suicune}}, as well as the mysterious "evil {{bp|Satoshi}}" that appeared in an earlier trailer. The movie trailer also shows Zoroark's pre-evolved form, {{bp|Zorua}}, which appears to be tied closely to whatever scheme Zoroark has planned in the movie. It is likely the trailer will be added to the Pokémon movie Web site this weekend and will be shown after an episode of the {{series|Diamond & Pearl|''Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl''}} and {{bp|Pokémon Sunday}}. Other guest characters include '''Kodai''', who owns a corporation known as Kodai Network, '''Rioko''', Kodai's secretary, and '''Kuruto''', a newspaper reporter trying to uncover Kodai's secret. The new movie trailer that aired on Oha Suta this week is now available online via the site. ''Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark'' will premiere on July 10 in Japan.
