It will be hosted in 4 places during an unknown period of time in spring, the four places being Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, and Hokkaido. This year's Mega Battle tournaments, the Lizardon Mega Battle, were held during the month of May in Yokohama and Osaka. Featuring Mega {{p|Charizard}}, the tournaments were held shortly after the release of the Mega Charizard centric expansion, {{TCG|Wild Blaze}}.
