Also revealed was Bonsly's purpose in Pokémon XD - a lost Pokémon that must be returned to its trainer. Reactions from Pokémon fans seemed to be equally split between disappointment and apathy. However, almost all could agree that the official name was better than the fan-speculated name of "Seedoweedo."
